Garbage Collection

Waste Connections provides garbage collection. In order to expedite garbage collection the following information is provided.

1. City wide pick up days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Fridays are also recycling days. Waste Connections observes the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. If your collection day falls on one of these holidays, call 817-222-2221 for a collection day.

2. Garbage must be out front at the curbside by 7:00 am on your collection day.

3. Discounts are provided to Senior Citizens. To apply for a discount, contact City Hall at 817-293-0525.

4. No hazardous waste, tires, batteries, liquids, or inflammables can be left for collection.

5. We would like to encourage you to contact Waste Connections directly if you are having a problem with your garbage collection at 817-222-2221.

Report Missed Garbage Pick Up/Complaints

Report garbage service complaints directly to Waste Connections at 817-222-2221 or online at www.wasteconnections.com. Their office shall be open to receive complaints and/or requests for information during the hours of 8:00am through 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and from 8:00am through 12:00pm on Saturday, excluding legal holidays. Be sure to get the representative's name when turning in complaints. Complaints should be resolved within twenty-four (24) hours. If a complaint has not been resolved within that time frame, you may contact City Hall Customer Service at 817-293-0525 to report the complaint, day/time it was called in to Waste Connections and the name of the representative reported to.
