“The mission and promise of the Everman Fire Department is to save lives, protect property, and provide all hazards crisis intervention through response, prevention, and education”

Under the leadership of the Chief of Department L. Whatley, the Everman Fire Department is a full-time combination fire department. The day-to-day station operations are overseen by 3 separate Fire Lieutenants, staffed 24/7/365, by dual trained Firefighter/EMT’s and Firefighter/Paramedic’s. Everman Firefighters work 48 continuous hours on, and off for 96 hours.

Station 19 houses numerous specialized response apparatus that respond based on the specific emergency incident type. To explore each of those apparatus, please visit our Apparatus and Station subpage located on the left!  We serve both the incorporated City of Everman jurisdiction as well as a portion of the Unincorporated Tarrant County jurisdiction spanning approximately 7 square miles. Our department provides fire, EMS and specialty response to an estimated daily population of over 10,000 citizens when combining city, county and daily commuter/visitors daytime population.

Everman Fire Department personnel are dedicated to our department mission and to serving the citizens of Everman and beyond. Personnel train, study, and prepare each day to ensure they are ready to respond in a moment's notice when you find yourself in the moment of need. On average, Everman Fire personnel respond to an estimated 2000 calls for service and emergencies in each year, all out of one station
