Finance Department

The City of Everman Finance Department is committed to upholding the highest standards of fiscal responsibility, transparency, and stewardship of public funds. What We Do

The Finance Department is responsible for a wide range of financial operations, including:

  • Budget Development & Oversight – Preparing and managing the City’s annual budget in coordination with department heads and leadership to ensure a balanced and strategic use of resources.

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting – Maintaining accurate financial records, preparing annual financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

  • Purchasing & Procurement – Overseeing purchasing policies and ensuring that all acquisitions of goods and services meet applicable laws, promote efficiency, and maintain public trust.

  • Payroll & Accounts Payable – Administering timely and accurate payments to city employees, vendors, and service providers.

  • Revenue Collection – Managing the collection of city revenues, including property taxes, fees, permits, fines, and other municipal income sources.

  • Grant Management – Coordinating the application, receipt, and reporting of grant funds to support community initiatives and capital improvements.

  • Financial Planning – Providing analysis and recommendations to support long-term fiscal sustainability and responsible economic growth.
