As a proud branch of Everman’s Public Works Division, the Parks & Streets Department is dedicated to enhancing our city’s livability—keeping roads smooth, parks vibrant, and public spaces welcoming.

Road Maintenance & Repair
Resurfaces streets, fills potholes, and manages drainage to ensure safe and accessible travel for all. Most recently, crews addressed 21 potholes near Johnson Park and installed new playground borders and swings -
Infrastructure Upkeep
Oversees routine inspections, curb repairs, and signage, supporting neighborhood connectivity and compliance with state/public standards.

Park Grounds & Amenities
Maintains green spaces across Everman—including Memorial, Clyde Pittman, Johnson Park, and the Noel Angel Alvarez Playground—with mowing, landscaping, and up-to-date trimming. -
Playground Equipment & Court Maintenance
Repairs and upgrades playgrounds, basketball courts, and fitness amenities. Recent efforts include repainting equipment, adding spring riders with concrete bases, fence repairs, and swing replacements at Johnson Park . -
Community Engagement & Events Support
Collaborates with the Parks & Recreation team to facilitate community gatherings, permitting field and pavilion usage, and supporting special events. -
