Within our Public Works division, the Water Maintenance Department is the backbone of Everman’s water supply and infrastructure. Staffed by dedicated professionals, the team ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality water to every resident and business.
What We Do

System Management & Repairs
Operates and maintains the city’s water distribution network—overseeing main breaks, valve operations, and meter services. Daily operations include repairs like the recent main break response near Thompson St. & Bell St. -
Infrastructure Upgrades
Implements critical upgrades and expansions—working closely with regional partners such as Fort Worth on projects like the 16-inch Everman Parkway transmission main fortworthtexas.gov. -
Water Quality Assurance
Monitors and safeguards drinking water from our groundwater wells (Paluxy and Twin Mountains aquifers). We add fluoride for dental health and disinfect with chloramine to meet state and federal standards -
Emergency Response
Available 24/7 for water emergencies. Our rapid-response crews promptly address ruptures, leaks, and other urgent issues to minimize disruptions and protect public safety . -
Customer Service & Billing Support
