The City of Everman offers an outstanding comprehensive benefits program that is competitive with other employers. Regular, full-time employees and designated part-time employees are eligible to participate in some and/or all of these programs, as described in each plan.
MEDICAL
The City offers four unique medical plan options to meet your individual needs. The City contributes 100% to the Employee Only cost for BCYB Base Plan. The employee can choose to participate in any one of the four plans referenced in the chart linked. Employees are eligible to enroll qualified Spouses and dependents. The cost will be deducted via payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis. Employees who opt out of medical insurance will receive a $250 stipend monthly. You must provide proof of other coverage to receive a stipend.
VISION
Getting your vision checked is more than just eyesight! Regular eye exams can assist in the early detection of diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and more.
Our policy covers routine eye exams, and other procedures, and provides specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses.
DENTAL
Dental wellness is an important component in your overall health. The City of Everman offers a great dental plan administered by Mutual of Omaha to meet your family’s needs
TELEHEALTH
New benefits is a benefit that is provided to all of our full & part-time employees. This Teledoc program includes immediate family.
LIFE INSURANCE
The City of Everman provides basic and accidental death life insurance.
SHORT AND LONG TERM DISABLITY
The City of Everman provides Short-Term and Long-Term disability.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANT PROGRAMS
Employee Assistance Program is available to all City employees.
TMRS
The City matches 2:1 an employee’s required contribution of 5% to the Texas Municipal Retirement System. The retirement program contributions begin upon the date of hire. Employees vest in the retirement system after five years of employment.
